Each range is made for a different job site risk: gas, live current, corrosion or heavy bolting.
Non-sparking
For flammable gas, vapour and dust. Spanners, sockets, hammers, wedges, shovels and a chain hoist.
Insulated
Pliers, cutters, spanners, ratchets and screwdrivers rated for live work up to 1000V.
Stainless
No chrome plating to flake off. Made for salt water, food plants and clean areas.
Special Jumbo
Striking, slogging and construction wrenches for flanges and the biggest fasteners.
Industrial steel
Everyday workshop tools: pipe wrenches, pliers, hammers, hex keys, torque wrenches and a 2 t jack.
How every batch is proven
A steel spanner can ignite hydrogen. These are tested so they won't.
Before production goes ahead, WEDO's QC team takes a sample from each melt and strikes it in an explosive atmosphere to GB/T 10686-2013, at the toughest gas group, IIC. Only a pass releases the batch. WEDO guarantees the non-sparking performance for the life of the tool.

Choosing a non-sparking material
Beryllium copper or aluminium bronze?
Both stop mechanical sparks. Beryllium copper is the choice for hydrogen areas and wherever tools must be non-magnetic. Aluminium bronze covers most oil, gas and fuel work at a lower price.
